How to Make Rosemary and Lavender Scalp Oil



If you have dry hair, dry scalp, itchy scalp, dandruff or psoriasis, you may find that natural, homemade
rosemary
and lavender scalp oil is a very beneficial treatment. After a few treatments with the blend of essential oils, you'll notice that your hair is getting glossy, healthy and full.







Things You'll Need:





6 drops lavender essential oil




6 drops rosemary essential oil




6 drops thyme essential oil




6 drops cedarwood essential oil




1/4 cup tea tree oil




1/4 cup jojoba oil

Place the tea tree and jojoba oil in a glass jar with a tightly fitting lid.

Add the essential oils and put the lid on tightly. Shake the jar until the oils are thoroughly blended. Keep the jar tightly sealed.

Warm the rosemary and lavender scalp oil in the microwave or in a pot of simmering water until it's warm but not hot.

Put several drops of the oil on the scalp before going to bed every night, and massage it with your fingertips for 4 to 5 minutes.

Wash the rosemary and lavender oil out with a good quality moisturizing shampoo in the morning and follow with a moisturizing conditioner.








Tips & Warnings










Put an old, clean towel on your pillow, because the essential oils can stain bed linens.








Rosemary and lavender scalp oil makes an excellent leave-in treatment for damaged and split ends. Moisten your fingers with a bit of the scalp oil and massage a small amount into the ends of your hair.
